"Lukfook Jewellery Raceday" was earlier held at Sha Tin Racecourse. The Raceday was graced by the presence of celebrities, and Guest of Honour, Miss Hong Kong Pageant winner Ms. Louisa Mak, who officiated the opening ceremony with Ms. Nancy Wong, Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Lukfook Group, Mr. Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, Chief Executive Officer of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, and Mr. Andrew Harding, Executive Director, Racing Authority of The Hong Kong Jockey Club.
To tie in with the theme of the event, the venue is enhanced with a crown corner in which a wide variety of exquisite crowns were available for lady guests to try on. Following a magnificent jewellery show at the Parade Ring, six models in couture gowns from the latest 2024 bridal collection designed by internationally renowned fashion designer Mr. Dorian Ho also starred in a jewellery show at Jockey Club Box, demonstrating tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars fine diamond pieces from selective collections of Lukfook Jewellery, fascinating the audience with their dazzling charm.
All the races on the Raceday were named after Lukfook Jewellery collections. These collections served more than merely the name of the races - the winner of the Betting Game for each race was entitled to receive a jewellery item from the named collection as a prize.
