Lukfook Group Awarded the "Sustainable Champions" at the inaugural "Sustainable Restaurant & Retailer Awards"

Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited ("Lukfook" or the "Group") (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group was awarded "Sustainable Champions" at the inaugural "Sustainable Restaurant & Retailer Awards", in recognition of its outstanding performance in sustainability practices and promoting green development within the industry.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lukfook Group, said, "While pursuing beauty and excellence in product design, the Group also actively promotes sustainable development and the establishment of a sustainable operation model. We have adopted various energy-saving and emission-reduction measures in our operation and production processes to reduce the carbon footprint and to diligently shoulder the responsibility of protecting the environment. In order to advance environmental protection practices, we have formulated green office guideline and incorporated environmental protection concepts into our business operations and key performance indicators for employees, so as to strengthen their environmental awareness. In addition, the Group spares no effort in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by actively participating in various welfare activities, collaborating with various environmental protection groups, social welfare institutions, and academic institutions to promote environmental conservation and social responsibility, caring for the underprivileged, actively giving back to the community, and creating shared value for society."

Co-organised by Hong Kong Smart Catering Association and Hong Kong Retail Technology Industry Association, the "Sustainable Restaurant & Retailer Awards" aim to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in the field of environmental sustainability within the restaurant and retail industries in Hong Kong, and promote green development. The judging panel selected and honoured winning enterprises based on five judging criteria, namely Sustainable Practices, Product Sustainability, Innovation and Technology, Community Engagement, and Employee Education and Empowerment.
