(16 June 2016) — Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is committed to contributing to the society. The Group participated in the "Walks for Millions" held by The Community Chest of Hong Kong once again, and encouraged the participation of its employees and their families to help the needy in our community.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “The Group has taken actions to fulfil its corporate social responsibility. We hope to bring warmth and care to those in need by participating in and sponsoring various charity activities.”

The "2015/2016 Walks for Millions" Cheque Presentation Ceremony was held on 31 May 2016. With the participation of more than 24,000 walkers, the "2015/2016 Walks for Millions" raised over HK$21 million, all of which will be allocated to support needy families, encourage mutual support among family members, and maintain and strengthen family bonding. In 2015/2016, The Community Chest of Hong Kong will allocate over HK$35.6 million to support 24 member social welfare agencies in providing “Family and Child Welfare Services”.
