(10 June 2013) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) has supported the “2012/ 2013 Walks for Millions” held by The Community Chest of Hong Kong for many consecutive years. The Group is committed to implementing corporate social responsibility and helping those in need while developing our business.

Mr. Wong Ho Lung, Danny, Deputy Chairman & Executive Director of the Group said, “We are delighted to participate in “Walks for Millions” again to help those in need through supporting and sponsoring various social awareness activities. The group will continue to implement corporate social responsibility and encourage the participation of its employees along with their families.

The Community Chest of Hong Kong has been devoted to supporting those in need over the years. For the “2012/ 2013 Walks for Millions”, a total of more than HK$30.7 million was raised and all donations will be allocated to support 23 member social welfare agencies that offer “Family and Child Welfare Services.”  These services aim to maintain and strengthen family bonding and to assist family members in establishing mutual support.

The "2012/ 2013 Walks for Millions" Cheque Presentation Ceremony was held in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 5 June 2013. On behalf of the Group, Mr. Wong Ho Lung, Danny, Deputy Chairman and Executive Director, presented the cheque to, and received the certificate from Mr. Tong Sau Chai, Henry, MH, the Chairman of New Territories Walk Organising Committee.
