(7 January 2013) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook”/ “the Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) made a donation to “Yan Chai Charity Show” held by Yan Chai Hospital,  aiming to raise fund for “Yan Chai Tetraplegic Fund” to relieve the financial difficulties of tetraplegic patients by supporting and improving their quality of living.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group, said, “Yan Chai Hospital has been devoted to supporting charity and social services over the years. We are very delighted to give a helping hand to this meaningful event. The Group will continue to give full support to various charity events, so as to implement corporate social responsibility and setting an example to raise awareness towards the under-privileged group.”

Yan Chai Hospital provides medical, social and educational services. Yan Chai has also established various charitable funds to provide assistance for people with different needs. “Yan Chai Charity Show” is the organization’s first large scale charity show every year, which was held at Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre on 4 January 2013 (Friday). Mr. Wong Ho Lung, Danny, Deputy Chairman & Executive Director presented the cheque donation of HKD$500,000 to Mrs. Susan, So Chan Wai-hang, 2nd Vice-Chairman of Yan Chai Hospital Board on behalf of the Group.
