(5 December 2019) – Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new shop at Okada Manila, Entertainment City Manila in the capital city of the Philippines. The Group hosted and celebrated the official grand opening with ribbon-cutting ceremony. Mr. Takashi Oya, President of Okada Manila, Directors of the Philippines Branch, Ms. Nancy Sit Ka Yin, famous artiste and Mr. Weng Li-you, Taiwanese Hokkien pop singer, were invited to officiate the ceremony together with Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Group, Ms. Wong Hau Yeung, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, as well as Ms. Nancy Wong, Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer, celebrating this important moment with honourable guests .

The new shop is located at Okada Manila in the Entertainment City Manila, where the Philippines government aims to build the city into a tourism hub. Okada Manila is a large-scale integrated resort with a five-star hotel, a casino, exhibition halls, restaurants and a shopping street. In addition to being a local leisure and entertainment hotspot with high traffic, it attracts tourists from all over the world.  The resort is an important platform for the Group to further penetrate into the international jewellery market.
