Made donation to "Tung Wah Charity Gala 2012"

(15 December 2012) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook”/ “the Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) has supported the annual charity event “Tung Wah Charity Gala 2012” for consecutive years. This year the Group continually made a donation of HK$ 1 million to support the local social services provided by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (Tung Wah).
Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group, said, “Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is devoted to charity for the benefits of the Hong Kong community over the years. We are very delighted to shoulder corporate social responsibility and donate HK$ 1 million to Tung Wah for the development of medical, education and community services to help those in need. Looking forward, the Group will continue to support various charitable activities and encourage our staff to serve the community. ”

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is one of the largest charitable organizations in Hong Kong that provides diversified services for public. “Tung Wah Charity Gala 2012” was held at TVB City on 8 December 2012 (Saturday). Mr. Tse Moon Chuen, Deputy Chairman & Deputy General Manager, Mr. Wong Shee Ho, Assistant to Chief Executive, presented the cheque of HK$ 1 million on behalf of the Group.
