(26 November 2013) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook”/ “the Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) sponsored “Lifeline Express Charity Dinner 2013” held by Lifeline Express Hong Kong Foundation to raise fund for surgical operations for poor cataract patients in remote areas of Mainland China, bringing hope and joy to them and their families.

The Group sponsored a 18K gold diamond sapphire necklace for the charity auction. After fierce bidding, the necklace was sold for RMB 100,000. The charity dinner raised RMB 4.22 million in total for Lifeline Express.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group, said, “Upholding the philosophy of helping contribute to the community, the Group always actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility and helps the needy. This is the third year the Group sponsored this extraordinarily meaningful charity event, hoping to bring hope to the cataract patients in poverty and light up their world.”

The Dinner was held at The Langham, Shenzhen on 5 November 2013. Mr. Lo Kwong Fat, Director of the Group’s subsidiary company, Maxigood Enterprises, received the souvenir from the organizer on behalf of the Group.
