Chief Executive, Mr. Wong Wai Sheung was Invited as Honour Guest for "Trust in Quality Merchants, Report Illegal Business" Promotion Day

[5 December 2008] ---- Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Luk Fook”/the “Group”) (Stock code: 590), today announced that Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chief Executive of the Group, was invited to be the honour guest for the “Trust in Quality Merchants, Report Illegal Business” promotion day held in Tsim Sha Tsui on 2 December 2008. As the Elected Member of the Retail Category of Quality Tourism Services Association, Mr. Wong distributed promotion products in the event to promote quality merchants and tourism in Hong Kong.

Quality Tourism Services Association, Yau Tsim Police District and  Hong Kong Customs co-organized the event. It aimed at uniting the accredited merchants under the Quality Tourism Services Scheme, so as to consolidate the honest and quality services image of Hong Kong. It also aimed at educating Hong Kong citizens to report touting of counterfeit goods, thus creating an ideal shopping environment in Hong Kong to increase tourists’ confidence.

The organizer also invited a number of guests to the event, including Mr. Brian Li, SBS, JP, the chairman of Quality Tourism Services Association; Mr. Tommy Li, MH, JP, the Vice-Chairman of Quality Tourism Services Association; Mrs. Selina Chow, the Honorary Adviser of Quality Tourism Services Association; Mr. Lo Kwok Kee, Commander of Tsim Sha Tsui Division and Mr. Edmond Cheng, the Head of Intellectual Property Investigation (Operations) Group. Artists Ms. Charmaine Li and Ms. Chuk Man Kwan were also being invited to distribute leaflets and promotion products.
