(22 July 2015) —Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group won the Second Runner-up in “Ordering Oxfam Rice (Organization Category)” in “Oxfam Rice Sale 2015”.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “The Group has been actively supporting various kinds of charity activities to contribute to the community. We have participated in ‘Oxfam Rice Sale’ for six consecutive years. With the support of our kind-hearted employees, we helped raise funds again this year for Oxfam’s poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects in Mainland China to help the needy. Looking ahead, we will continue to support charity programmes and encourage the participation of our employees to serve the community.”

“Oxfam Rice Sale” is the annual major fundraising event of Oxfam Hong Kong. It calls for people to purchase Oxfam rice at HK$20 per packet, aiming to raise funds for the “Oxfam China Development Fund” to provide education and living support for those left-behind children in rural China and help their families improve livelihoods and get rid of poverty. Ms. Jannus Cheung, Corporate Communications Manager of the Group, received the certificate on behalf of the Group.
