(6 March 2017) — Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group’s two masterpieces “Auspicious Bird” and “To Rejoice with Your Heart” (shown below) won the “Best of Show Award (Open Group)” in “The 18th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition”, and “Auspicious Bird” also received the “Craftsmanship and Technology Award”. The winning pieces were designed by the Group’s jewellery designers Mr. Yueh Hong Ning and Mr. Tse Ka Wing respectively.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “The Group is honoured to receive three awards in this year’s ‘Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition’, affirming the innovative talent, outstanding design and exquisite craftsmanship of our professional design team. “The 18th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition” was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Jewellers’ & Goldsmiths’ Association, the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association, the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association and the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, aiming to enhance the design and quality of Hong Kong-made jewellery and encourage creativity. The judging criteria includes creativity and innovation, aesthetics, craftsmanship, wearability and topic relevance.
