(11 June 2014) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) proudly announces that the Group won the “Prime Awards for Eco-Business” for three consecutive years, and received the honour of “Eco Jewellery Corporation (Gold Award)” in recognition of its continuous dedication to environmental protection.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “The Group has incorporated sustainable initiatives in areas such as energy saving, waste management and carbon reduction into its manufacturing, administration and daily retail operations, in order to promote green business environment and contribute to environmental protection. Looking ahead, the Group will implement more environmental strategies in every aspect of its business and promote green messages.”

The “Prime Awards for Eco-Business 2014” was organized by “metroBox” magazine, and selected by a panel comprising representatives from green groups, trade associations and academia to give recognition to the enterprises which have outstanding performance in environmental protection. The award presentation ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza Hong Kong Kowloon East on 6 June 2014. Ms. Nancy Wong, Executive Director of Lukfook Group, received the award on behalf of the Group.
