(4 June 2014) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and contributing to the community. The Group has participated in the "Walks for Millions" held by The Community Chest of Hong Kong for consecutive years to help the needy in our community.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “Over the years, Lukfook has actively supported a variety of charity and community programmes, and always encourages the participation of our employees along with their families.”

The "2013/2014 Walks for Millions" raised more than HK$22 million for The Community Chest of Hong Kong. All donations will be allocated to support 23 member social welfare agencies in providing “Family and Child Welfare Services” and “Children and Youth Services” to maintain and strengthen family bonding and to assist the family members in establishing mutual support through various services.

The "2013/2014 Walks for Millions" Cheque Presentation Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 29 May 2014. On behalf of the Group, Ms. Nancy Wong, Executive Director of Lukfook Group, presented the cheque to and received the certificate from Ms. Chan Heung-lin, Jenny, the Co-Chairmen of New Territories Walk Organising Committee.
