(13 December 2017) — Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that its Lukfook Jewellery shop on Rua de S. Domingos in Macau was awarded the highest honour of “Class A Certified Shop” in the 2017 “Certified Shops” Scheme organized by the Macao Consumer Council, in praise of the Group’s extraordinary performance in product and service quality.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “Since entering the Macau market in 2002, the Group has adhered to the principles of ‘Six Heartfelt Services’, sparing no effort in providing quality products, caring and professional services to customers. It is encouraging to have our Macau shops stood out from the crowd in the ‘Certified Shops’ Scheme and received the highest honour of ‘Class A Certified Shop’ for multiple times. Looking ahead, our team will continue to put forth maximum effort to bring our consumers superior shopping experiences.”

Always putting our customers first, Lukfook Group has been actively supporting the “Adherent” Scheme by the Consumer Arbitration Centre under the Macao Consumer Council to abide by its contingent agreement to submit and resolve disputes at the Centre should any disputes arise, so as to protect the interests of consumers. In order to promote honest business practices of the “Adherents”, a mechanism termed “Certified Shop” was launched by the Macao Consumer Council in 2001. “Adherents” that have good business records, abide by the relative “Code of Practice”, and pass the annual assessment by the Council will be awarded the emblems of “Certified Shop”. In 2011, the Macao Consumer Council added a grading system to its assessment mechanism for the “Certified Shops”. Companies that receive the highest score in their respective category will be awarded “Class A Certified Shop”.
