(14 October 2019) – Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group has been named one of the “Best Participating Companies in Online Learning Program” and the Group’s employee Mr. Wong Chit was also honoured as one of the “Best Performers” for scoring a success in test results in the “E-learning Platform” launched by Hong Kong Jewellers’ & Goldsmiths’ Association (HKJGA). The Awards Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 25 September, 2019 at The Hong Kong Productivity Council.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Group said, “The Group strongly believes that nurturing talents is the key to sustainable corporate development. Therefore, we endeavor to encourage employees to engage in continuous learning and provide them with professional training. Thanks to the efforts of HKJGA, Trade and Industry Department and fellow companies in the industry, this E-learning Platform adds a new dimension to training strategy for jewellery retail industry. This platform can help to strength frontline staff’s knowledge on jewellery and their operational resilience. We are in hope of seeing more learning and training opportunities in the future to maximize overall talent competitiveness of the industry, so as promote jewellery industry’s long-term development.”

The “E-learning Platform” is launched by HKJGA and funded by Trade and Industry Department. The platform includes various training videos and tests on basic knowledge of jewellery and operating regulations, which can assess participants’ professional knowledge. The Group hopes the participation will help to strength service quality and image of frontline staff and in turn, further enhance its reputation in the industry.
