(21 October 2019) – Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group is honoured as a “Good MPF Employer”, together with two Special Awards, the “e-Contribution Award” and the “MPF Support Award”, from the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) again, in recognition of the Group’s efforts in adopting electronic system in MPF payments and its contribution in facilitating the MPF scheme.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Group said, “The Group sees our employees as part of our big Lukfook Family. Therefore, we strive to provide all-round benefits and livelihood protection for them and concern much about their retirement plans. The Group also disseminates the latest information about the MPF system to employees so as to encourage them to manage their MPF accounts in time and assist them to make better arrangement for retirement. The Good MPF Employer Award was launched by the MPFA with an aim to recognise employers’ efforts in upholding and enhancing retirement protection for their employees; and encourage employers to provide better retirement benefits. Special Awards are also offered, namely the “e-Contribution Award” and the “MPF Support Award” to recognise employers for handling MPF contribution payments electronically and providing assistance to employees about managing their MPF accounts.
