(22 July 2019) ----- Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group attained champion of “Ordering Oxfam Rice (Organisation Category)” in “Oxfam Rice Event 2019”, and has received Top 3 Honours for 10 consecutive years in this fundraising event, in recognition of the Group’s active support in Oxfam’s poverty alleviation development.

The “Oxfam Rice Event” is a major annual fundraising event by Oxfam Hong Kong. The theme of this year is “Don’t let poverty continue on to the next generation”, which sheds light on intergenerational poverty problem among existing smallholder farmers. Oxfam has raised over HK$2 million in this event to support smallholder farmers that are struggling in poverty worldwide, improve their lives and, in long run, lift themselves out of poverty.
