(10 Jun 2019) ----- Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group’s subsidiaries Luk Fook Jewellery (Guangzhou) Company Limited and Lee Fook Diamond & Jewellery (Guangzhou) Company Limited have been awarded the “EcoPartner” and “5 Years+ EcoPioneer Companies” at the “BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards 2018”, which were jointly organized by Federation of Hong Kong Industries (“FHKI”) and Bank of China (Hong Kong) (“BOCHK”) in recognition of the implementation and promotion of environmental protection in different aspects by the Group.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Group said, “The Group highly values environmental protection and has been committed to reducing wastes in areas including manufacturing, administration and retail segments, and continued to review and optimize our existing related measures. The Group will continue to foster the concept of sustainable development, strengthen energy conservation and waste reduction in our daily operation, so as to make the most contribution to protect the environment.”

The “BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards”, co-organized by FHKI and BOCHK was launched in 2015, aiming to encourage and recognize enterprises operating in Hong Kong and the Pan Pearl River Delta region to adopt environmental practices, which in turn help them fulfil corporate social responsibility and reduce environmental pollution.
