(17 September 2012) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) proudly announces that the Group’s Headquarters, “Luk Fook Jewellery Centre” has attained the "Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings” Certificate from Water Supplies Department after the commencement of operations last year.

“Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings” is a voluntary scheme administered by the Water Supplies Department to recognize the owners, operators and building management agents who demonstrate consistent compliances of the prescribed criteria under the scheme. This scheme aims to strengthen the capability of building management agents to achieve value-added performance, enable local residents and overseas visitors to have a greater confidence in the quality of tap water, and assist the owners, operators and building management agents to conduct self-assessments on plumbing conditions as well as to identify areas that are in need of maintenance.
