(26 August 2013) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is proud to announce that the Group’s Headquarters, “Luk Fook Jewellery Centre” has attained the "Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings” Certificate from Water Supplies Department for two consecutive years.
Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “The Group received the “Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings” certificate once again, it not only signifies that the tap water system of “Luk Fook Jewellery Centre” has reached the standard of the drinking water quality of the World Health Organization, but also proves our effort in property management. Looking ahead, we will continue to implement more measures in order to provide a better working environment for our staff. ”
“Quality Water Recognition Scheme for Buildings” is a voluntary scheme administered by the Water Supplies Department, and aims to increase building management agents’ awareness of achieving value-added performance, enable local residents and overseas visitors to have a greater confidence in the quality of tap water. The certificate presentation ceremony was held on 22 August 2013. Mr. Darwin Cheung, Assistant Property Manager of the Group, received the certificate on behalf of the Group.
