(14 April 2016) — Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group was awarded the “Happiness-at-work” label under the “Happiness-at-work Promotional Scheme” for three consecutive years, and received the “Smiling Enterprise Award” (Jewellery Retailing Category) from the Mystery Shopper Service Association for the first time.

Mr. Wong Wai Sheung, Chairman and Chief Executive of the Group said, “The Group has always considered our employees as our valuable asset and strived to create an ideal working environment and pleasant working atmosphere to enhance our employees’ sense of belonging and working efficiency. The “Happiness-at-work Promotional Scheme” was organized by the Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and implemented by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, aiming to promote the concept of happiness-at-work among Hong Kong companies and organizations, encourage delightful working environment and raise the happiness-at-work level of the local workforce.

The “Smiling Enterprise Award” was organized by the Mystery Shopper Service Association, aiming to recognize the enterprises in every industry that have achieved outstanding performance in providing smiling services. The selection criteria mainly include three aspects, namely “smiling”, “greeting” and “add-on sales” of employees given to customers. Only one enterprise in every industry is selected as the “Smiling Enterprise”.
