(27 February 2013) ------ Luk Fook Holdings (International) Limited (“Lukfook” / the “Group”) (Stock Code: 00590) is pleased to announce that the Group’s design “Life” has won the “Best of Show Award of Open Group” in “The 14th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition”. The awarded piece, “Life” (shown below) was designed by Ms. Ho Kwan Po, Yoko, Jewellery Designer of the Group.

The 14th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition” was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Jewellers’ & Goldsmiths' Association, the Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association, the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers' Association and the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong. The competition aims to further enhance the design and quality of Hong Kong-made jewellery and encourage creativity. The winning piece was judged on creativity and innovation, aesthetics and craftsmanship, wearability and topic relevance. The presentation ceremony was held at Hooray Bar & Restaurant on 25 February 2013 (Monday), Mr. Au Kowk Kau, Group General Manager and Ms. Ho Kwan Po, Yoko, Jewellery Designer of the Group received the award on behalf of Lukfook.
